Meet The Team: Hanna Brancaccio
Hanna is a first-year medical student at Rowan-Virtua SOM. Her interdisciplinary background in economics, foreign language, liberal arts, and biomedical sciences sparked her interest in research. She is an aspiring orthopedic surgeon with a passion for mentorship and community-oriented care, as her time spent immersing herself in the New Brunswick community as an undergraduate student is ultimately what inspired her to pursue a career medicine. Hanna’s goals for research are to identify ways in which socioeconomic factors impact musculoskeletal health and outcomes, and she looks forward to working with FFRI to contribute to these advancements in orthopedic research. Outside of grant writing, Hanna loves traveling, working out, Philadelphia sports, and themed activities such as trivia and karaoke.
